The Spaces Between

Jen Unekis’s delicate lines, soft layered surfaces, and bold strokes pull the viewer in. When she paints, she is most interested in exploring the accidents: the awkward dance of maintaining control within a piece without constricting it, taking care not to step on its toes and ruin the magic, creating a piece that finds its own balance. This solo exhibition will showcase Jen’s newest paintings.

The Lawrence Arts Center is proud to have Jen as the 2019 Benefit Auction Featured Artist.
